Free Enterprise Award

Since 2002, the Rafael del Pino Foundation has awarded an annual prize to the best book published by one or more Spanish authors emphasising the values of the market in the fields of general economics or business economics and law. This prize is an expression of recognition of academic research in these fields.

In its seventh year, the panel of judges for the Free Enterprise Award in 2008 consisted of: Ricardo Alonso Soto; Lorenzo Bernaldo de Quirós; Antonio Cidoncha; Francisco Cabrillo Rodríguez; Juan Ramón Cuadrado Roura; Fernando Eguidazu; Fernando Gómez; Manuel Jesús González; Juan E. Iranzo Martín and Joaquín Trigo Portela. The Director of the Foundation acted as non-voting Secretary.

The Prize was declared void by the judges who were of the opinion that “none of the works selected meets the necessary criteria for it to be awarded“.
