The European school of government for training public managers
On 18 July 2008, the Director of the Rafael del Pino Foundation signed a research agreement with Antonio Núñez Martín to conduct research entitled “The European School of Government for training public managers“ into the methodology, objectives and content of training for public managers in Spain and Europe with the aim of responding to the training needs of the public sector so that it can contribute to the competitiveness of its environment. The research will be arranged as follows: the functions of a manager, public managers, the case of Spain, management training, and the training of public managers.
It will start by defining the training profile of public managers and then go on to analyse the characteristics of the European business school: syllabus, organisation, faculty, students, strengths, weaknesses and success factors, among other issues.
