TRAINING FOR LEADERSHIP
3rd Meeting of the Association of Competition Economics
On 23 October 2008, the Rafael del Pino Foundation and the Public Sector-Private Sector Centre of IESE organised the 3rd Meeting of the Association of Competition Economics (ACE) at the Foundation headquarters. The event’s organising committee consisted of: Ignacio Herguera (CMT), Massimo Motta (European University Institute), Jorge Padilla (LECG), George Siotis (Carlos III University) and Xavier Vives (IESE Business School and Pompeu Fabra University).
This 3rd Meeting focused on overpricing and discriminatory pricing, the clemency programme, tacit collusion and consciously parallel behaviour, as well as the state of competition on the gas and electricity markets. The inaugural lecture was given by Reinaldo Rodríguez, Chairman of the Spanish Telecommunications Regulatory Commission.
